Special Collections and University Archives

Beginning August 17, Special Collections and Archives is open

  • Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Researchers are also welcome to make appointments Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​A limited number of researchers will be allowed in at one time, so appointments are encouraged, even during the walk-in hours.

Masks are required.  Contact us to schedule an appointment at Archives@MissouriState.edu, or leave a voicemail message at 417-836-5428 and we will return your call as soon as possible.

About the Collections

Included here are processed collections as well as select unprocessed materials. Researchers should contact Special Collections and Archives to learn about collections not yet listed on the website. Access to unprocessed collections is at the discretion of archives personnel. 

Unless otherwise noted, collections are located in Special Collections and Archives (Meyer Library, Room 306). Researchers should read use policies prior to visiting.
